Hello readers! In the 8th of January 2023 edition, we commented various EU calls published during the current week. As we wrote in the last weeks, under Horizon Europe almost 500 new funding calls were funded for supporting research and innovation on an extensive range of topics, such as social policies, inequality issues, promotion of cultural heritage, health issues, energy and climate change policies. This week we commented with single synopses the funding calls issued under the Horizon Europe destination on Clean environment and zero pollution (2023/24). They are aimed at setting out a credible pathway that helps to halt and eliminate pollution to guarantee clean and healthy soils, air, fresh and marine water for all and ensure that natural resources are used and managed in a sustainable and circular manner.
