In the 30th of October 2022 edition, we commented two big EU calls pubished during the current week. Under the Horizon Europe Programme, the European Commission issued a big call for funding aimed at enhancing strategic autonomy in developing, deploying and using global space-based infrastructures, services, applications and data 2022 - applications. Actions to be funded are expected to be implemented using relative applications coming from Copernicus and Galileo infrastructures within the Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (EGNSS). Another big call was issued by the European Parliament for sustaining democratic participation and open and pluralistic information about the forthcoming European elections in 2024.
